Joe Cunnane
FCA Chartered Accountant & AITI Chartered Tax Advisor and has over 25 years experience working in
private practice and industry in Ireland and abroad. In 2010 Joe made the decision to establish his
own practice in Dublin and in 2020 he felt the call to home and opened a regional office in Tulsk, Co
Roscommon. His main focus is a commitment to deliver excellent customer service helping clients
achieve financial freedom teamed with the provision of value by way of tax efficient solutions.
Darena Hanly
Darena is a qualified financial adviser and administrator and is the first point of contact for our
clients and suppliers. Having left a banking career of over 20 years in 2018, Darena returned to
office management and joined TRA in 2020. She is delighted to be able to work with a progressive
accounting team and building relationships with our clients.
Geraldine Beattie
Geraldine joined in 2020 having previously worked with Grant Thornton and is a Fellow of the
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Chartered Tax Advisor and a Trust and Estate
Practitioner. She has extensive experience in succession planning, advising families on the transfer
of businesses and wealth to the next generation. She provides tax support services to a range of
legal firms covering capital taxes, estate planning, trusts, Revenue audits and investigations. She
represents the Irish Tax Institute on the ITI/Revenue Branch Network.
Bridget Giblin
Bridget is a member of ACCA and completed her professional accountancy exams in 2015. She has
20 years banking experience and after a short period of time working in a finance role in the
Hospitality and Tourism sector, she joined our practice this year. She is delighted to expand on her
qualifications and work with a dynamic and knowledgeable team with clients from all types of
backgrounds.
Angelena Madden
Angelena came on board in August 2022 and is our payroll and accounts assistant. She is in charge of
the smooth operation of the payroll side of the business ensuring an efficient service to our clients
and meeting all the required deadlines. An avid baker in her spare time there are always lots of
treats on hand to keep us motivated.
Shona Hanly
Shona joined us in March 2022 working part time while she studies Law & Criminology in Maynooth
University, a keen sportswoman Shona plays LGFA and Camogie for her local club Tulsk and
Roscommon County. Who knows she may become a forensic accountant yet!
